Emirates has launched a range of new accessible services and products at the AccessAbilities Expo 2024 in Dubai. The innovations aim to further improve the travel experience for people with disabilities.
The new offerings include a sign language robot, a virtual reality tour of the airport, a wheelchair-accessible chauffeur service and an integration of the “Be My Eyes” app for the visually impaired. With these innovations, Emirates reaffirms its commitment to inclusive and accessible travel, supported by the Accessibility Policy launched in 2024 and the Office of Accessibility and Inclusion.
The featured products also include a wheelchair transport solution and sensory guides for neurodivergent travelers. Emirates emphasizes that these measures are part of its long-term strategy to reduce barriers and make air travel accessible to all.
