Belgrade Airport was able to handle almost 1.5 million passengers in 2024, specifically in the period January to May. The management was also able to adjust its targets to the actual situation. The passenger record of 4,531,000 passengers achieved by the current JAT Yugoslav Airlines will be surpassed by the airline in 2024 or 2025.
The result in May is also impressive: with 372,638 passengers handled, the busiest May since 2013 was achieved. This figure represents an increase of 11 percent compared to the previous year, according to the portal Ex-Yu Aviation News.
